I took portraits at a floral arranging event thrown by Emily of Rust and Thistle on Friday. I met Emily briefly at an event thrown by Stacy Barnes to launch her  new creative business a few months ago. Jeanette, who is a local San Diego artisan perfumer, was delighting everyone with samples of her first fragrance Ocean Blvd, which you can buy here.  Cotton Clouds for a Cause was there with delicious organic cotton candy.

It’s great meeting new people to work with and talk about the difficulties and joys of being in business. I love surrounding myself with other businesses who are working towards their dreams. I like being able to help small business provide a service for their event by having the option for portraits. It gives the guests something to look forward to and guests get a lovely image to remember the event by.
