Fearless H.E.R brunch

A few Sundays ago, I was asked to take photos at a brunch for a non profit organization called Fearless H.E.R. Their mission is to empower women of all backgrounds and inspire them to dream big and achieve their goals. I was very excited to be asked. One of my goals after starting my business, was to be able to do something to give back to women’s causes. The fact that I got to provide my skill set to help some of these ladies was fantastic.
The event consisted of a brunch with 4 guest speakers Gennene Wilbourn,  Karen Shelton-Jackson, Shawanna Johnson and Kristy Salazar. The presentations spoke about finding your purpose, turning purpose into plans, and plans into action. All while focusing on the end goal when encountering various challenges. There was an opportunity for the ladies to network at the end, as well as posing for a headshot.
Griselda Ramirez is the founder of Fearless H.E.R. The name Fearless H.E.R. comes from letting go of  the fear and becoming fearless in our actions towards our goals and ambitions. Fearless H.E.R. was started because Griselda felt there was a need for an environment where women encourage each other. To create that safe space where women can come and talk about their dreams, knowing that one story of success can empower and encourage someone else to take the leap towards their dream. Through Fearless H.E.R. women who start  new projects will also have a built in place to network for their new endeavors.

The next Fearless H.E.R. event is in Los Angeles on June 14th.
The brunch took place at Eclipse Chocolate Bar and Bistro in South Park and the food looked amazing.  Of course since I was working, I wasn’t able to try any of their dishes, but I will definitely be back to sample. The staff there was really accommodating and friendly.
