About a month ago I had the pleasure of heading from San Diego to Las Vegas for a huge photography event called WPPI. Every year there is a convention and expo where photographers from across the country to come drool over new equipment and products for their clients. All the big names in the industry are there. You can also win some pretty cool prizes, this year I won a 100 dollar giftcard to Adoramapix.
But most importantly it’s a chance to see products in person and feel their quality and talk to the vendors. When looking for products I go for one’s that are well made, beautiful and classic. Something that doesn’t go out of style. I love the products that I offer and I know you will too. My favorite is the image box. It’s discreet enough to be hidden away for personal enjoyment or out on display for everyone to see. The first time I saw it, I knew I needed to offer that to my clients.

 

 

I wasn’t able to attend the conferences, as I was participating in a multi-day workshop on women’s portraiture that was broadcast live on the internet by the wonderful CREATIVElive. They managed to get 100 photographers to sit still and take notes for several days! It was a great experience and one day maybe I’ll head up to their main studio in Seattle for another workshop.
